is a seasoned singer/songwriter who has worked at her craft while fronting her own band and playing as a sideman (acoustic/electric guitars, violin, vocals) for many others.
She grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania amidst a lively, musical family –many evenings spent with siblings around the piano singing “Erie Canal” and other folk songs. She could hear music easily at an early age and began studying Suzuki violin at six.
But she discovered her real passion after receiving a guitar for Christmas as a young teenager. Jennifer continued to fiddle on and perform with symphony orchestras, but she had found her voice with the guitar.
Songwriting was a natural progression. After many years of honing her material, Jennifer has produced and released her first full-length CD, “From Then Till Now Till When”, which has garnered praise from Nashville to the UK and is available on FishRecords.co.uk.
A powerful singer-songwriter with a sweet-toned voice that is clear, concise, controlled. Her songs are beautiful little masterpieces ...

...Her songs seem to spring from some hidden place, and Drummey’s voice is authentic – her lyrics strike the listener as genuine, grounded in life, strands woven from experience ... A splendidly produced album, all arrangements built around the same core, which are Drummey’s voice and guitar. Drummey appears to be in full command of her influences.

At Fish Records we receive a lot of promo CDs in the post – but few create the need to contact the artist straight away. This release from Jennifer Drummey was one. This is a highly recommended album. With reminder of Joni Mitchell and Lucinda Williams the artist was new to me but considered a real find, and I’m sure will be a favourite on Fish.
Distinctively smooth vocals ... thoughtful and thought-provoking musings on love, life – set against musically inventive arrangements.

... an extraordinary singer-songwriter, one who can feel the pulse of her listeners.
– Johnstown Magazine
Drummey has put together an album of her own songs, with a couple of covers, that utilize a tightly-focused band of seasoned players who add rhythm guitar, pedal steel and dobro textures to paint these songs with a water-coloured folkish Americana. The sound allows her voice its personal space ... wistful ... gentle ... direct.
